Hi Emile,
I have to disagree with you in perception but not in the spirit that you are coming from.
First there is this perception that Christ is one with God and God is one with Christ. That Jesus is God and vis versa. If one was to read the bible instead of the words of the Bible one would see that they are 2 entirely different entities. Both in heaven and on earth. In fact the sole reason Jesus as we know him came to the planets surface was a mission of mercy for humanity. If you read the Bible you will see that God was fed up with both man and everything that was on it. He was going to destroy the planet as we know it.
Secound there are 3 entities in heaven as we as human vision it. There is GOD, KNOWLEDGE & WISDOM. The last 2 are entities. KNOWLEDGE sits on the left hand side of God and WISDOM site on the right. When God dicided to destroy the planet Wisdom stepped in and debated the case with God. After much diliberation Wisdom suggested that he decend to the planet to interface with man (humanity) to find out and understand what the problem was. God being all knowing and all seeing rejected the idea stating that if he was to decend to the planet that he/it would be killed. Wisdom being who and what wisdom is pleaded the case successfully and God allowed it reminding him/it that he could not decend to the surface in the form that he was. That if he was to decend to the planet he would have to take the form of a human in which case he would have to give up the powers that he had in the form he presently was. The rest is history. So be the Christmas story and the Easter story. The resurrection and Jesus says that he is unclean don't touch me he was correct. He had to assend back into heaven and be restored to whatever his previous form was. This is why he is referred to as sitting on the right hand of God and being the Lamb and all the rest of the referrences to all that sort of thing.
There is no mystery here. It is cut and dry. Hard cold facts. Before you can understand the NT you have to understand the OT. The NT is the teachings and display of Wisdom, not action. But at the same time Jesus never said that when the Jews where being slaughtered during WWII that they where to love their neighbors (Natzies) allow themselves to be exterminated. Folks take out of context just what the teachings of Jesus are. It is and excuse for one to do nothing because to be a human on this planet one has to work both at knowledge and wisdom to make the dissions to survive, both spiritually and physically.
You and me are here today because Jesus finially experience what God and party created. MAN, MAN, MAN. A living, breathing, thing with the power to reason. Make choices, feelings, likes, dislikes, weaknesses. Jesus experienced weakness when he was on the cross, doubtness, abandonment, wanted what he had when he was in heaven. He experience the full circle of humanity. That is why we are here today. And last but not least his faith wained, if only for a secound. That is what made the experience of being human complete.
But like I said before, I agree with the spirit in which you display.
Best of the day to yea,
