it's becoming obvious that retailers are fighting for market share of a shrinking pie no shock that high end and specialty retailers (who placed the wrong bet on what would sell) are suffering that said, i just scored some excellent bargains at saks....i always wait for sale merchandise stuff there, but this year was better than usual.... except for shoes....NO INVENTORY...it was pathetic ps... just got back from vegas and what i witnessed there was truly scary....some of what i got was intuitive based upon reactions and experiences of interacting with workers at hotels, restaurants, etc, but suffice to say, i think the entire city is on the verge of collapse....i don't plan to return (nor does my traveling companion)
