Hi Crossy, I remember last time when I went back to Taiwan the exchange rate of US vs NT was around 1:25-26. Right now it is 1:30.75+. One of my friends told me the other day that her sister (an exporter) believed that NT will be devalued to 33 level soon. I read an negative article on Taiwan semi foundries the other day. Can't remeber the details now. If I can dig it up, I'll post later. Among the Taiwan semi foundries, I like Taiwan Semi Manufacture best. It is the largest and best one on the island. Its ticker symbol is TSM. Just had its ipo in early Oct. at 22. Its recent high is around 33. Now it closed at 19 yesterday. I am looking to buy it around mid-teen. Regards, IRis
