I agree with you, Rsievers.

But Brinker's deceptions are made more successful when he is given credit for making "good calls" when he in fact has not done so since March 2003. And even with that, the market has done a complete round-trip (and more) since then -- from S&P 807 to 677.

He has in fact hurt a lot of people that may not be as sophisticated as you are and trusted him when he said stay fully invested since 2003, and buy, buy, buy in 2008 at mid-1400s, mid-1300s, low-to-mid 1200s and mid-800s.

I get emails and comments on my blog all the time from people who paid for Brinker's newsletter, but didn't have all the facts and lost tons of money (there's no easy way to check old copies if you are a new subscriber. He no longer allows most libraries to carry Marketimers). These people are financially hurt because they trusted Brinker's schtick.
