I'm really wondering how the next few weeks will go for Obama. He's getting very tired, his speeches aren't working, and he's making more remarks off-prompter. This raises the chances of mistakes. So far his mistakes have just failed to advance his argument, like comparing the government option to the Post Office. But he could make a damaging 'spread the wealth' mistake anytime. Or just as bad, he could make a boring, no-news speech to the Joint Session of Congress as the Blue Dogs set and plan their individual escapes from the sinking ship.

Meanwhile, there is Van Jones, and after Van Jones there is a long list of left-wing Czars picked by Valerie Jarett et.al. This story is starting to get traction. Now Gibbs had to mention it, I saw it on a CBS News blog. Add it to the long list of stories harmful to liberals that the MSM was forced to cover against its will, weeks or months late.

So what's coming up? Speech to the kiddies, Joint Session, UN General Assembly. There's supposed to be a Mideast summit in there somewhere too. Plus write a White House healthcare bill, and reconcile it with the five Congressional bills. Gonna be a busy September.

I could almost feel sorry for Obama, if this weren't so completely his own fault. He never intended to write policy. He is just the 'Annointed One,' like Horowitz says. He was supposed to handle the front of the house, while George Soros slipped his people and his policies into place. If Obama fails, the Left will turn on him worse than the Right.
