David,

"Gamble, I think, is the best word for penny stocks."

Very good, and people gamble to make __________?

My opinion is all stocks are a gamble. The bigger the gamble, usually the bigger the payoff. Think the gamble with both NRID and IDX is will this technology be accepted outside of the government contracts that IDX has gotten. I wouldn't count the Sylvan deal, or the Columbain bank contract until they produces revenues. If biometrics doesn't take off I think both these companies are overpriced, especially NRID.
Besides David, the money I have in NRID now was all from profits I made in NRID's run up last winter. I'll concede that IDX is the better company. NRID is a better gamble.
Think what you IDX people forget about are the large companies with biometric patients, waiting until the technology gets accepted before they get into this market.

Bob
