Soufan is a former FBI agent. From the outset he has been opposed to harsh interrogation. He is getting far too much airplay on this issue.

The FBI simply doesn't know anything about interrogating people who are outside the realm of "breaking the law". It is a different process.

Soufan did some great work in the years leading up to 9/11. But he still thinks a law enforcement approach is the best one. Clearly, it isn't as it is the CAUSE, more than anything else, of 9/11.

He is also a Muslim and, no doubt, Obama supporter.
