Trivia regards------ Paul Craig Roberts, which it was you that brought to my attention quite a few years ago, was to opened my mind up quite a bit,it taught me NEVER judge a man by the LABEL that puts him a box. Craig Paul Roberts, once assistant secretary of the U.S. treasury, under Reagan, and the chief of economic policy of the once viewed as a major funder of right wing causes, the Olin Foundation, was thus in knee jerk fashion scorned by those of the liberal or left. And as Craig Paul Roberts is a dedicated "christian", one got trapped into thinking Christian Right Wing. What i have found out since, Paul Craig Roberts,is "christian" in the highest sense the word, the key being he is NOT interested in converting people to "christianity", his bottomline being one need only be a good person, regardles of their belief system. Paul Craig Roberts is simply the type person with a highly sensitized and empathic conscience, they are NOT ruled by ideology, but, to me, a spiritual person myself, are simply ruled by a quite alive and developed soul.
Chris Hedges( who holds a degree in theology, being once a divinity student, who went on to be for 20 years a war correspondent) and Craig Paul Roberts carried opposite labels, one The Conservative the other The Liberal, but time has proven they both are simply men that fit the above words "they are NOT ruled(etcetera)........................." i have now pinned down a meaningful number of writers of this type,Chris Floyd and Barbara Ehrenreich and Arthur Silber, being but three others. But i found the biggest impact of Roberts was that in late 2003 The Olin Foundation, after giving BILLIONS to the Republican Party(they were in the top five contributors to the Republican Party for decades) stunned the GOP , in a press release, stating they would no longer be contribiting to the Republican Party, and would not be contributing to political parties, period)
i have little doubt this massive change was because of Paul Craig Roberts.
