Hi GZ, I have begrudgingly watched the ECRI for over 2 years. Their persistent negative calls have been like watching a slow train wreck. The most recent prcoclamation was ae end of recession in Q3 and growth in September - surprisingly fast growth. Most of the fed's money growth has been parked in the banks - awaiting the next shoe to drop - commercial real estate. This delay has had its soothing benefits - large well capitalized reits have raised the money and are perching at the tree tops,waiting to make their killing. It just might have already been prevented, and this recovery does get MOMO in earnest. Look at how quickly the stock market turned - what says real estate can not also improve - it's been declining since 2006. Maybe a double bottom in winter of 2010. Looks to me like tech is about to invent the next killer ap - netbooks. Our beloved data, available while mobile.
