The liberal methodology is one of slow steady progress towards their goals – remember that in Marxist theory the end justifies the means. Each individual effort appears compassionate and is frequently associated with an emotional event.

Gun control serves as an obvious example with emotional impetus. This is evident when the timing of liberal anti-gun efforts are examined within their context. Obviously they follow, and are associated with, unfortunate event such as Columbine and the attempted assassination of Reagan.

This political methodology is effective -- and is exactly what was meant when the Obama’s spokesman said, “Never waste a crisis.” By tying their agenda to an emotionally charged events, they circumvent logic and gradually, in a step by step never ending assault, their progress becomes irreversible.
