You are correct. Not only what you mentioned but if SEG succeeds in getting market share by penetrating this market (even at low margins), they will be able to leverage lower electronics costs into the high end and, by keeping the PCBA and drive plants full, will be able to leverage lower manufacturing costs into the remaining desktop and high end. As has been mentioned on this thread, volume is a key to cost improvement for vertical integration even at the cost of some margin.
