Sure it is. It goes to intent. If the intent is to politicize, it is a goal, not just an awkwardly worded sentence.

"Awkwardly worded" to one person is "indoctrination" to another. You people have no problem with complaining about religion in the public schools. But politics is okay?

The problem is not this one incident. The problem is that Obama has shown a pattern of fascist behavior and those who are very sensitive to it are alarmed by it. Others, who are ignorant of how fascism can happen, are more willing to turn away from it.

"Textbooks have been banned, for example, in some schools because of a single word or concept. "

By those with a political axe to grind. Glad to see you are admitting that is what you are doing.

It isn't a political issue when a certain group of parents acts to ban texts they believe are not in the interests of their children. It simply isn't the job of government to make these decisions. It is the job of parents.

If a parent wants to try to get a book banned because he doesn't like its content, then he should do so. If enough people see it his way, perhaps they'll be successful.

That's the way it works.
