I have few doubts about that.

Only to the blindly partisan. Volcker gets full credit for ending stagflation. No one else. And there is plenty of doubt about Reagan's role for those who are reality-based. Your profound ignorance of economics is really no excuse.

Totally wrong. They can work under the right circumstances. But they can be counter-productive in others. Often, they have little effect.
