You conveniently ignored Hoover's tax cuts which led to the Great Depresssion.

Bull shit, it was tax increases before and during Hoover's administration that was largley responsible for the depresion. Tax rates were unreal. It would have been unsustainable for a lot earlier if it wasn't for the fact that soooo many didn't pay their tax's. It wasn't just Al Capone. Hoover lowered tax's but as I recall they were not enough and raised again by Congress the next year.
