Since the Republicans don't seem to be throwing together a cohesive plan for 2012, I think it's time for me to start campaigning for my picks for POTUS in 2012.

I don't think McCain is the guy. Cheney would alienate the middle. Probably the same for Palin.

We need someone who has credibility in the business world, international relations, working with the government, technology, finance and law. We need someone with all that AND charisma.

John Chambers, President and CEO of Cisco Systems is a Republican. He has a law degree, bachelors in business and a masters in finances and business management.

And he is a leader.

And it is pretty obvious that there is some discontent with the career politicians right now. I believe that is why Palin is popular. She really does represent change. She's very clearly a Washington outsider. And so too would be Chambers.
