Lets see, dropped the PC off at the shop because it wouldn't start, just made a whizzing sound. Relatives picked it up, and it seems to work, but the monitor has decided to put an inch of black space on both sides of the browser which is unreachable by the cursor. Any idea how to make the inches of blackness on both sides go away, and allow the cursor to roam over the inches on both sides?

Well, whattaya know, I fixed the black side problem by myself - changed the screen resolution. However, the fonts on everything (browsers, iTunes) are a bit too large. How do I reduce the standard font size?
