Competition is fine as long as there's a level playing field.In Pennsylvania we have a duopoly of private heath care...why? Why do private insurers deny coverage for people with pre-existing conditions like cancer and diabetes mellitus?... Tort reform is a smoke screen because the main reason for all the medical tests is the high volume medicine and lack of time with patients.Clinical diagnosis is a lost art. we had a near economic and financial meltdown because of greed and unregulation....this has pushed the pendulum too far in the direction of government oversight and obtrusiveness.
