It doesn't have to specific. It was a putdown of a vast mass of people just because you wanted to belittle their religious choice.

I'm sorry but I do think its perjorative. Would it be pejorative to refer to other religions in terms of "animal instincts"? To mention canabalism when discussing their choice of a religion? In fact, religion is one thing which separates from other creatures. I know of no animal which turns to religion out of instinct.

The only mention of race I made was in terms of the stereotype you appealed to. Furthermore, I just said "You want to say your comments aren't based on racist beliefs - fine." In case you didn't recognize it, thats an avoidance of calling you racist. One doesn't have to be a racist to appeal to insulting stereotypes though.
The only real accusations of racism I've made on this thread were aimed at Darwin and Haeckel and those were 100% accurate.

If you mean the word science, it seems it means different things to you depending on where it appears.
You even stated that it's your "hobby" to go around looking for scientists that are aethiests, so some such thing.... YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SUPPORT FOR YOUR BELIEF. That pretty much sums up all your posts on evolution as well.
I haven't said its a "hobby". I think thats your opinion of my posts here. You could say of any poster on SI that they're pursuing a hobby. I don't really have to look for atheistic sciencists or claimants to the term, they make themselves quite well known. And I think they do harm so I'll keep criticizing them as I see fit. |
