And you think that justifies taking 1/2 of our earnings. You think a lot differently than I do. You apparantly don't place a lot of value on freedom.

my goodness, how did you make that leap? I would bring all our troops home and decrease our military in half - so don't lay that tax crap on me. Most people just bitch at taxes - like corporate America - and then whine about the lack of services they get. You want fancy roads to drive on and police and schools and fireman and cheap hydro power - well the list is endless - but if you want this stuff then it has to be paid for. So stop using the roads and don't use the latest medicines when you get sick and I'll let you keep your tax money. IOW, go live in a cave and chew on weeds.

And your freedom comment;
I don't want your freedom or the idealogic freedom of the right ...or the left. The right spews these freedom comments and then want the government to tell women what they can do with their bodies and they want to tell people they can't smoke pot and they tell people they can't be a homosexual and they tell people they can't die with dignity. The right also wants to mess with my freedom of speech by saying I'm a traitor if I want to end the war in Iraq. And they have no concept of freedom as it relates to religion. If I want to worship as an Asatru - then that is my business and the Christian zealots should just allow me the freedom of religion.

No my freedom is real freedom - not some narrow defined freedom that isn't freedom at all.
