Little Joe; You contiue to see things along party lines Well we were discussing "freedom" and if people would be honest the Christian Right has a grip on the republicans that is surely messing with your freedoms. So yes TODAY as far as freedoms are concerned they are more in danger from the right than the left. ......You seem to somehow equate taxes though to freedoms and that is where we really part company. The socialist countries with high taxes have a lot of freedoms compared to us. They represent what you claim to favor as a Libertarian. OTOH a lack of taxes does NOT make you free. steve
