When a billion ain't enough to cover costs:

Selling Corel at the bottom. Buy high, sell low. Novell the company is acting just like the investors in Novell<g>. Remember the stock repurchase program? The average repurchase price was 14.5. They should have waited like everyone else.

Savvy investors will be looking at Novell's upcoming operating loss and look at its cash flow situation very, very closely. If they are jettisoning assets to cover their payables, it will even sap the strong will of the last remaining longs, which is Young's reason for living.

Also, I love this CFO. Another reason to be short. Nothing like a Neanderthal to manage the money. Probably running the company using Quicken, which would explain the trouble forecasting revenue (or lack thereof). Neat graphics though.

Short and proud.
