Wall Street and Corporate crooks run the country, or should I say "influence the running of the country in a major way to the disadvantage of Main Street". For the greater part, the face on the Presidency changes and that's it. Presidential priorities may proceed as long as they do not conflict with the agendas of Wall Street and Corporations. They (Wall Street and large multinational corporations) didn't give a shit who got water boarded or what Constitutional rights were abrogated under the Bush/Cheney disaster because it didn't affect their agenda. Health care, OTOH, is a different story - hence all the false propaganda and balleyhoo backlash. All of the above IMHO, of course -g-
