Zenbu data is now in Skyhook: skyhookwireless.com So that people can use Google Latitude to see where their friends, families, employees, etc are, not to mention themselves, if the device spots a Zenbu signal: google.com

More state of the art technology from Zenbu.

That is so good! I'm now hooked up and my location is visible on-line. So are others. I can see where they are, and where I am. Travelers sometimes don't know where they are. They might know they are in Auckland, but just a couple of weeks ago, a couple of foreign young women were out jogging in the evening and couldn't figure out where they were or which way was home. They asked me. Better still for them would be if they had an iPhone or other device which spotted Zenbu or other signals which could tell them where they were [even without GPS].

Now, if this laptop spots a Zenbu zone, or other registered Wi-Fi location, the laptop/my position will show up.

It has my location precisely marked. I'm right at the centre of the blue ring. Osama might find it not a good thing to use. A Predator pilot could fly a missile right through my window now, based on that position location. Or, Osama might find it quite handy - put some dummy Wi-Fi devices here and there, where he isn't, and have them send out terrorist messages to attract a Predator attack. He might even place them in places he wants blown up.
