If you have a heart attack because you overeat and are obese chances are good that science, technology, and good heath care (along with rehab ) can keep you alive. If you reform and do not repeat your mistakes you can die a natural death from old age. If you practised good health all along, you will eventually die of old age. I don't have any spread sheets or any links to support my contention but it seems intuitively obvious.
