Simple math.... The new plan calls for employers who do not provide health coverage to pay an amount of 8% of payroll. I pay more than that to cover my employees.....significantly so. Why would I not just dump the coverage and pay the tax....? I suspect that for larger employers, it might make even more sense.....there will be no one left on private coverage.... J.
