| I watch BBC to some extent, the local news channels rather less, and also CNBC, CNN, Sky News, Fox, (see the SkyTV news offerings here skytv.co.nz ) and a Sky channel that shows a range of stuff: Euro News, Voice of America, PBS, Al Jazeera, Deutsche Welle, McLaughlin Group. My TV watching style wears out the channel select button (and the mute button). I also keep track of current events to some extent through various web sites (like BBC, HuffPo), but I place more stock on the analysis in the NY Review of Books, to which I subscribe, and which I regard as the finest journal of its kind in the world. |
