We have got to have a narrowing of the income gap in this country or we will become a Banana Republic. IMHO, we are in this mess in large part due to the fact that the middle class was given a bait and switch opportunity to maintain their lifestylein the face of falling wages by taking on easy debt. This debt will be difficult or impossible to pay off.
