Re: Competition <Maybe someone can point us to it?>>
Go to EDGAR to see the 10-K, use your browser to search for the word 'competition', and among several paragraphs you will find the following:
<<CD-ROM and CD-Audio manufacturing is dominated by manufacturing organizations affiliated with major international music companies, such as Sony, PolyGram, Warner, BMG and EMI. Independent record producers are generally serviced by the "non-affiliated" or independent CD manufacturers (including the Company) because of their smaller average unit runs and their greater need for a broad range of services such as pre-mastering, mastering replicating, packaging and shipping in addition to short turn-around times. The major international music company CD manufacturers and independent CD manufacturers collectively produced a majority of the 1994 worldwide output of CD-ROM and CD-Audio. The remaining 1994 CD-ROM and CD-Audio worldwide output was produced by many small and medium scale CD manufacturing operations. In the U.S., the Company's independent competitors include Disctronics, Inc. ("Disctronics"), Disc Manufacturing Inc. (a subsidiary of Quixote Corporation) ("DMI"), JVC America, Inc., Denon Electronics, Inc., KAO Infosystems Company ("KAO"), Imation Corp. and Nimbus CD International, Inc.>>
FWIW, I sold my shares yesterday at $14 3/8- I needed the margin for another investment short term and I think it's likely that we'll see a price back around $12 in the current market- but I would like to buy back into this company. I should receive an investor's info pack from the company in a few days. What I most like about them is the intangible that they are "hungry"- that's the impression I got from reading the IBD article- and certainly the numbers are there as a foundation.
