Oh bummer! How could the government regulate when the government ran Fannie mae and Freddie mac. Now what does the government run? What are they going to run next? Remember when the mortgage business was profitable, very profitable until the government got into it.
Remember when everyone in the world dreamed of owning an American auto until the government got involved telling the American auto makers how much mileage their fleet must average and how much carbon monoxide an auto could and couldn't emit.
Now health care is next for complete government involvement. Will they do to health care what they did to the American auto industry or to the very profitable mortgage industry?

Oh bummer! "You ain't seen nothing yet!"
