A friend once said to me that "the closest polite society gets to war is politics" and that "politics is a form of war".

What we now have is a political war in America----a war of ideas and words.

We have reached a boiling point imo where normal Americans are not going to stand by and let our American foundations of democracy and culture be trampled on.

Where we are today has happened gradually as the 'politically correct' movement of the 1980's and the early 1990's have made Americans fearful of speaking their minds for lack of being politically correct.

The Not PC crowd were not significant in numbers in the initial stages---however, they were persistent in demanding that the majority of Americans bow to every want and whim of the 10% or less. One could say the 'not-pc'advocates infilitrated into every aspect of our American lives.

What I see now is that Americans are fed up with this politically correct socialistic movement that has come to National and to State politics.

It is ironic that many Americans who came to USA to get away from the oppression of the Socialist and Communist---e.g. the South Koreans, the Russians, Hungarians, Polish, Irish--- are now comparing the big government of America to the big Socialist or Communist governments they left behind either recently or centuries ago.

Check out the faces in the anti-big-government rallies and protests----they are a patchwork of American Society taking part in the political war to preserve America.
