Right now Obama has the best people working on the problem.
I doubt it. I'm sure he has smart people but ideological blinders and politics compromise smarts.

You can't just increase spending as what you suggest but there has to be cost cutting.

I wasn't just increasing spending. Some of those suggestions, such as portability, would reduce costs. In any event, my list wouldn't increase costs as much as Obama's but would solve the immediate problems.
