Didn't he throw the Rev Wright under the bus when he had to. I don't think he is getting any advice from the Rev Wright. Basically, though, I think Obama transcend race and small thoughts. David Brooks, the conservative columnist is highly impressed with Obama's intellect and intellectual knowledge. I heard Brooks say that he has always felt more knowledgeable on certain subjects with any politician he has ever interviewed or gotten to know. He does not feel he is more knowledgeable on any subject when talking to Obama. That imo is high praise from someone who makes a living by being partisan.
