"There are no "requires" or "musts" for Atheists"

There are no "requires" or "musts" for anyone. People decide whether to be social or anti-social--just as they decide whether to sit in a church watching people clinging mindlessly to saccharine dribble--or whether to take a walk in the woods.

Morality is about being hurtful or helpful in relationship with those around you and with your environment (I practice an environmental ethic, as well). If you are hurtful to others your life will be filled with fear and despair and will likely be quite truncated. If you are fair, decent, and above board, and if you conform to social mores...and don't butt heads with big goats--your life will be pleasant enough. It takes half a brain, at most...
