Don--I'm following your opinions with great interest. You've honed in on the most important question to me--whether the last four days accomplished the technical work they attempted to. In my opinion, the answer is a resounding NO, but Greenspan hasn't called me to run the market <g>. Interesting report on CNBC from one of the big brokerage trading floors, in which the reporter said there is a battle going on between those who want to move forward and those who want to pull the market back down to a level in which investors want to exit at any price. Nothing would make me happier, but I don't know if that side will win. It's very hard to trade when sentiment is so diversified. I'm considering accumulating out-of-the-money index puts, and certainly will open those positions if I take upside stances on individual companies. (See TT's excellent analysis of such positioning.)

Thanks for your posts, keep 'em coming,

-- Brad
