<<< we can sometimes put on different hats or walk a mile in the other guy's moccasins. We can also sometimes overcome our habits and be objective. >>>

I will agree that it is a rare individual that can overcome all the obstacles and transcend to a higher level. But that is what greatness is all about. That is why we have to elect the best possible person to be our President. We have to find those one in a thousand types people.

It may not be in our Constitution to rule out voting for ignoramuses or people who do not have respect for education but that is something that we have to do.

People who have demonstrated their lack of respect for education and knowledge should never be elected to the highest office.

We now have a President that has the intelligence and the value system that respect knowledge. He lives those value system. He is highly educated and his wife is highly educated. His kids will be highly educated. They are not going to be dropping out of school.

Obama has all the makings of someone that can transcend all the pettiness that most us have and that hold us down.
