I bet there are some interesting discussions going on behind closed doors. Buffett is already off the reservation. I am sure others are as well - but not publicly. Ultimately I believe Obama is going to redistribute wealth as a primary mission. If job loss is a problem - welfare via redistribution will be the answer. I believe he has some dogmatic positions that can never be wrong - in his mind. 2010 will be a critical election. Remember - no matter how bad it is - soon the majority of the population will be dependent on government and will not be able to step away. Sadly, I see labor falling further and further behind as low skilled workers are forced to compete with the masses of the world. How that reality will play out politically will be interesting to see.
