Why should he bother? Even though he has posted a short form BC many people are saying that it is photoshopped. This in spite of assurance from the appropriate officials in Hawaii that the short form BC that has been shown, is in fact, legitimate. factcheck.org Anyone who isn't blinded by their desire to vilify Obama can see that the hysteria over his citizenship isn't going to go away even if he does provide some other more complete birth certificate. Look at how willing people are to accept an obvious forged kenyan birth certificate while dismissing an obvious valid (short form) birth certificate. What is the upside for Obama to jump trough hoops for obvious nut cases? The nut cases won't accept anything he provides as being legitimate and all he has done is provide more ways for them to attack him. And now, they will have proven that they can get him to jump through hoops. The birthers have pretty much marginalized themselves by being completely uncritical of the kenyan BC and dismissive of the Hawaiian BC. At this point they can be ignored by any rational person.
