Would you rather be treated by a medical professional that loves their work and who gives their heart and sole to it or 501'er? Gosh, that's a stretch. A doctor who runs his own business inherently loves his work more than one who is paid a salary by a hospital? There are both dedicated folks and others who are just earning a living in both categories, just like other fields. Most people have a bit of each. I think that the major differences would be how entrepreneurial the individual is and which side his bread is buttered on.
