>> Poll: Doctors Among Public Option's Biggest Fans

As usual, the devil is in the details:

"Most doctors — 63 percent — say they favor giving patients a choice that would include both public and private insurance. That's the position of President Obama and of many congressional Democrats. In addition, another 10 percent of doctors say they favor a public option only; they'd like to see a single-payer health care system. Together, the two groups add up to 73 percent. "

Of course, what we're talking about here is NOT a public option in addition to private insurance, because the public option obviously will end up being the single payer given enough time.

We know this. Walmart has supported the public option. Why? Because through it, Walmart can get subsidized health insurance for its employees. It would take only a few years -- maybe 10-15, for almost all the private insurance to be squeezed out. And everyone knows it.

So, the question degenerates to the public option ONLY, which is 10%.
