Well, Del, if your ex-maid's internet romance is still really hot, you may not see her for awhile!! But I am dying to hear what happened, since internet romances are a sort of wave of the future, and an interesting part of the technological revolution.
That is NOT me standing out in front of that cottage. Did you see a diaphanous flowered dress and an egg basket anywhere? Nooooooooooo!! I was pretty much joking about egg production on a profit-making basis, though, since chicken manure is one of the foulest-smelling products on earth. Once I bought some by mistake to fertilize my garden, and my husband had to pull off the freeway and throw it on the roof-rack because the smell was so bad coming through the vacuum-sealed, air-tight bag that we were all about to throw up. Not that putting it on the roof helped much!!!!
I did look at the chicken area of the Marin County Fair when I was there this year, and was absolutely fascinated with all the beautiful varieties of chickens and roosters. I would love to have some of these exotic types just sort of roaming freely, laying eggs when they felt like it. Have you ever raised chickens, Del, or had a couple out back?
Why do they call it GIGGING flounder, anyway? Are you catching them in some special sort of net, or hunting them with spears? You can tell I don't have a clue here, but am curious. |
