Just thinking out loud but couldn't the public option be more like Medicare Advantage Plans? We opened the door from 'single payer' Medicare to the private companies ... and more than a few claim it's a success. Why wouldn't that work in reverse? If I'm missing something stupid be kind as I'm trying to get this thought posted and leave work... always in a rush to do that.
