Revisiting the not pc----not polically correct---of the 1990's?

Fairness doctrines----fair campaign practices committees----have been a favorite of the Democrats from the local to the national level.

Heck, who can be against fairness---?

This reminds me of what was being attempted during the merger of Siri and XM. Georgetown Partners wanted a certain part of the spectrum given free gratis to those who had no interest in the merger----as I recall they started at about 20% to them-----using the excuse of setting aside for minorities.

That was known as the Chicken Little syndrome----it was pure and simple imo a shakedown.

So what is this "Fairness Doctrine that uses "New Deal" to make it appealing? My inclination is to say it is likely a snake and needs to be tromped now.
