Speaking of germans...just read this piece:

Looks like carbon-fiber composites might make it into cars quicker than I thought. Then again, Volkswagon has a history of hyping upcoming stuff and then not following through. Anyhow, it's still good news for companies like HXL and CYT, as half the key to greening up an automobile is getting the weight down.

Also, I noticed a major disconnect between the analysts' earning growth estimates for 2010 and the Analysts' Opinion in Yahoo Finance for HXL. Mean recommendation of 2.3, yet earnings growth of only 5%??? How can they love the stock so much and yet give it such flatline earnings unless maybe they are thinking down the road a ways.
