Oh I'm sure they will morph into something else, but their money supply will be disrupted so they will be defanged for a while.

I fear that the constitution isn't enough to save the sinking ship that is the USA.

Every government job that is created is another permanent vote for socialism (who is going to vote themselves out of a job?)

and what about the jobs created by stimulus money. If I work at the new solar panel plant that survives solely because of government subsidy, am I going to vote for a politician that wants to eliminate my job.

I think we've gone past the point of no return. I think too many view the Constitution as a relic written by ignorant rich white man from times that have little meaning today.

In reality, the Constitution is timeless because it based on basic human nature.

The only solution that I see short of full blown revolution is a bunch of really big rockets so that we can have a sweepstakes where every government employee wins a vacation on Venus ala "The Marching Morons" by Cyril M. Kornbluth
