Just back from Montana at 11:00 pm tonight. We need to figure out where to go from here. I posted this elsewhere. Anyone who is interested in this story should read the entire list of forum posts on the ST Owner's forum. I have never, never, ever met a community like these motorcycle riders. They have mobilized hundreds of people to get involved in this search. For that we are grateful. My post to another forum: He was ID'd at the Conoco at the intersection of US-12 and US-93 in Lolo, MT buying gas and a sandwich. Larry Rose, the Darby Marshal has an incredible camera system in his little town of 800. He records every vehicle going through town (don't speed! and don't tell the dipshits at the ACLU). We have Donald on tape at 4:35 pm on 8/31 headed south. Nothing beyond that. No credit card purchases, no cell phone usage. The ST Owner's forum has been incredible with this. They have people coordinating search riders in the area and updating status on their web forum. Links here: st-owners.com st-owners.com I've been thinking about getting an ST-1300 or ST-1100 used, and this brings me closer. These folks have been incredible. Edit: The people in Darby and elsewhere in the Bitterroot Valley are also incredible. I have never met friendlier people. I was at a convenience store replacing a headlight. Didn't have all the right tools. A guy named Audie, came in, got his tools out and took 1/2 hour to help me. He had to leave, so left his tools with me and told me to just leave them with the store clerk, which I did. I think I want to move to Darby, Montanny.
