Take for example the crooked Janet Reno whose primary function in the Clinton Administration was to block the investigation and prosecution of the Clintons. You would have never been allowed within twenty layers of paperwork from those people. Janet Reno was never a bureaucrat. She was a political appointee heading an agency, serving "at the pleasure of the president." IMO it has. YOur mileage may vary. None of the "weirds" thing you forecasted has yet happened or been officially proposed to happen. Doesn't mean that they won't, only that you can't claim any points yet.
