All market manipulation must be exposed and eliminated. Abuses by MM's and hedge funds with respect to short selling does not excuse abuse of risk to justify management pay abuses and vice versa. Time for our regulators to really protect us, the public investors, and not worry about industry rules that protect the ones with money and power and vested interests.
