Theft IS Theft, no matter who does it. For more than 50 years, the mostly Democrat House and Senate created a nearly perfect "Katrina-type Ponzi scheme" … Impose Government THEFT and steal money from workers paychecks saying that eventually that money will pay for medical care when people retire, and THEN steal that money and use it for something else. Bernie Madoff is in jail. Shouldn't any in Congress who have been party to this be in jail as well?? …. At the least they should be out of Congress and the Senate, and have their own retirement benefits including medical benefits and pensions removed forever. Retirees believe that their Medicare bills are paid from a "trust fund" that was created with deductions from their paychecks. But this is a politician's lie. In truth, our predecessors spent every penny of those contributions immediately. They spent them on wars and pork that helped them get re-elected. The money for current retirees' health care is taken from today's workers
