Fortunately, the kid is grown up -- well, at least in college, and is more interested in other stuff than crap for Christmas (before she left, she gave me her budding collection of PM coins to "keep safe" for her)... although I have to admit a part of me really misses the little kid who got so excited around Christmas and only cared about beenie babies and holographic Pokemon cards... It was a lot cheaper satisfy her then than it is now that her current desires are for more guitars, both acoustic and electric... bass... violins... mandolin... keyboards, and all of the accessories.
