Imagine all these "journalists" sitting around a conference room table going through all the top stories of the day, discussing which stories they're going to cover and in what order. Some low level guy brings up the Acorn story and how it's spreading all over the blogosphere, local news, Fox, twitter, etc., and the head guy says - "that's just noise. Don't mention it to Charlie Gibson. We've got to keep him focused on more important stories. The president is speaking to 50 people in Indiana today; Joe Kennedy might change his mind; There's a letter missing from Ethel Kennedy's house; Jimmy Carter spoke to NBC, we've got to get a follow-up on that; Joe Wilson is probably a racist, we need to ask the question before anyone else does; oh, and let's lead off with that Yale story - get some coroner on tape to speculate how she died."
